Our Policies

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance due must be paid in full prior to boarding the vessel. All refunds will be in accordance with the below cancellation policy. We accept cash and all major debit/credit cards.
Full refunds for the cruise will be issued when the Captain makes the call for cancellation due to unsafe conditions or vessel mechanical issues by 4 pm the day prior to the booking. Unsafe conditions are defined as sea and wind conditions that are deemed hazardous to the boat, passengers, and crew. If unfavorable conditions exist that do not pose a risk to boat safety (rain, fog, temperature, etc.), the boat will operate as scheduled. Customer's deposit will be refunded in full if Customer cancels reservation at least 10 days prior to date of departure.  Deposits will not be refunded for Customer cancellations within 10 days of scheduled departure. The motor vessel, BLUE is operated by a USCG licensed Captain who is responsible for the safety of both vessel and crew. Any passenger willfully disregarding safety regulations aboard the vessel will be subject to immediate termination of the charter and loss of all deposits and fees paid prior to departure.
Although California state law allows cannabis to be legal, it is not legal while boating since the ocean is considered Federal waters. All illegal drugs, as well as all forms of cannabis are not permitted on any charter for any reason or in any amount. In the event that illegal drugs, including cannabis are found on the boat, the charterer will be liable for the full value of the vessel as well as loss of income. We are required to immediately return to port and report any violations to the United States Coast Guard.
No smoking, vaping, or chewing tobacco is allowed while onboard the vessel.
Passengers can bring their own alcoholic beverages aboard the vessel. The United States Coast Guard does not have any restrictions regarding alcohol consumption by our passengers (Captain and crew are forbidden), but if there is an incident resulting from passenger alcohol consumption, the passenger is solely responsible for all damages.
The United States Coast Guard restricts the number of passengers on BLUE to six plus crew. Any children under 12 years old must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. Unaccompanied 13 to 17 year old minors must have a signed release form (provided upon request). Boating can be a physically demanding recreational activity, the Captain retains the sole discretion to deem a passenger unsafe to board or to be a passenger aboard the vessel.
